About the profession
Hematology is a branch of physiology and medicine that studies blood, hematopoietic organs, as well as diseases of the blood and bone marrow (these include anemia and hemoblastosis).
Currently, hematology is one of the most rapidly developing medical specialties. New high-tech, informative diagnostic and treatment methods are being introduced into clinical practice. In the treatment of diseases of the blood system, complex multicomponent programmatic methods of influencing them are used, which make it possible to cure many fatal tumors in the recent past.
The learning process
In order to immerse themselves in the profession, residents receive patients, take part in medical and diagnostic manipulations (many of which are performed independently under the supervision of experienced doctors), supervise patients during rehabilitation and patients during initial treatment.
